Girgit controversy: Edited version of movie to be updated in few days

Mangaluru: The Girgit film team on Tuesday informed that the edited version of the movie will be updated within a few days.
After the bar association took offence to few scenes in the movie and the subsequent stay on screening of the movie, the team had tendered an unconditional apology and also agreed to remove/mute few parts of the film.
Speaking on the issue the film team informed that the editing of parts of the film is already underway in Chennai and the team requested for more time for the final cut.
Bar association president Narasimha Hegde said that the bar association do not have any hatred or grudge against the Tulu film industry, actors and the directors of the film, but the film industry should work towards protecting the well-being of the judicial system and the sentiments of the advocate community.
The bar association also wished team Girgit to run successfully for more than 100 days.
Actor Roopesh Shetty, Producer Manjunath Attavar, senior Lawyer M P Shenoy and Bar association General Secretary Raghavendra H V were also present.
