Mangaluru: Mangalore South MLA Vedavyas Kamath in a statement said that Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar, has declared Dasara holidays to primary and secondary schools of Dakshina Kannada from October 1 to 15.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kamath said that the Dasara holiday would commence from October 1 to enable children, parents, teachers and non-teaching staff to participate and celebrate the Dasara Festival. One can recall that MLA Kamath had appealed regarding the issue of Dasara holidays to Minister Suresh Kumar in person.
