Ullal shootout case: Several arrested

Ullal: Several youth have been arrested by Ullal police in connection to the late night fight and shootout that occurred between two groups near Mukkacheri in Ullal.
The fight had broken out between two youth teams led by Suhail Kandak and Kadapara resident Salman respectively in connection to a WhatsApp status and during the fight, Suhail and Kadapara resident Irshad (20) were injured.
Initially, an argument broke out on the phone between Suhail and Salman regarding a WhatsApp status. As the argument crossed all limits, Attavr resident Suhail left along with his gang to Kadapara at round 11:30 pm in the night. There, the two gangs fought against each other, inform the cops.
During the fight, Suhail opened fire, which in-turn injured Irshad in his legs. At the same time, Salman and his gang attacked Suhail with sticks because of which, he too was injured. The police have informed that the gun has been seized and the injured are admitted in the hospital.
Both the parties have registered complaints against each other. Irshad has filed a complaint against Basheer, Suhail Kandak and gang while in a separate case, Suhail Kandak has filed a complaint against Salman and 10 others. Based on either complaint, several youth stand arrested by the cops.
