Bengaluru: A city-based businessman allegedly ended his life by jumping into Ulsoor Lake on Thursday afternoon.

The deceased identified as Binny(28), a resident of Cox Town owned a courier firm, police said.

Notably, he is said to have attempted suicide at the lake on an earlier occasion too but was saved by passersby.

A suicide note recovered from the spot read Sorry parents, said the police. Moreover, the status on his mobile phone was ‘RIP’.

It is suspected that his business was suffering from loss hence he resorted to the drastic step.

A search operation to trace his body was called off late last evening.
