“Those who donate generously for society are rare these days. People like G Shankar are an example while selfishness is filled everywhere,” noted the minister.

It will be made as per the request of G Shankar providing all the facilities. G Shankar will be made the president of the Health Trust for hospital’s maintenance and cleanliness and the small administrative cost will be borne by people,” he said.:

“G Shankar has provided fully fledged building which should be declared by the government as the hospital for mother and child making sure that doctors work here with discipline,” said MLA Haladi Srinivas Shetty in his presidential address pointing out that G Shankar has contributed in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada and Shivamogga in education and health sectors and the donation now in Kundapur is huge.
