Miscreants hurl hot oil on food cart vendor

Bengaluru: A 50-year-old food cart vendor sustained burn injuries after four persons allegedly hurled hot oil on him for asking them to pay their food bill.
The victim Lakshminarayana, a resident of Banashankari sells food on a pushcart along with his wife , son and a worker near Hosakerehalli.
On Sunday, when Lakshminarayana was conducting business at 100 Feet Ring Road here, the four persons had rice bath and idlis from his cart. However, they started to leave without paying for the food. When Lakshminarayana asked them to pay, the accused began abusing him and hurled the oil at him.
Luckily for Lakshminarayana the oil was not boiling hot and he sustained 20 per cent burns. His worker Ramesh too was injured in the incident.
Girinagar police file a case in this regard and are looking out for the accused.
