Manipal: KSRTC Volvo bus conductor exemplifies honesty

Manipal: A KSRTC Volvo bus conductor has exemplified honesty by returning valuable ornaments worth around Rs 40,000 to its rightful owner.

On Monday evening, Jalajakshi of Manipal had travelled from Mangaluru to Manipal in a KSRTC Volvo bus at around 6:30pm accompanied by her daughter and grandson. During the journey, a gold chain worn by the kid was lost accidentally.

On the morning of the following day, the passengers inquired with the conductor of the said bus regarding their lost property to which the conductor promptly and honestly returned the gold chain worth Rs 40,000 to its rightful owner.

The honest action of KSRTC Volvo bus conductor Prasad has been lauded by the public.
