Kanakapura villagers find ‘seven-headed’ snake skin; video goes viral

Bengaluru: A number of people have been flocking to Marigowdana Doddi village in Kanakapura since Wednesday morning to get a glimpse of the snakeskin, supposedly of a seven-headed serpent, found near a temple here stated a media report.

After the news of the discovery went viral on social media, people have been arriving at the village and are even offering kumkum and haldi around the smake skin.

The seven-headed snake has a mention in Hindu mythological stories and the fact that this snake skin was found near a temple has further intrigued locals.

A villager said that the temple where the snake skin has been spotted was built after a similar snake skin was discovered in the village six months ago. This time round the snake skin was found in a field belonging to a Balappa, some 10 feet away from the temple premises.

Meanwhile snake experts, dismissed the existence of any such snake.
