Four die after being struck by lightning

Bengaluru: Thunderstorm and lightning claimed four lives and injured two others in Kalaburgi and Raichur district on Thursday, November 10.
The deceased have been identified as Umadevi Basappa Hadagal (19) and Siddappa Nariboli (35), both from Kalaburagi district, and Manjunath Gurappa Maindaragi (20) and Suneeta (18) from Raichur taluk.
Apart from the human casualties, 25 sheep also died after being struck by lightning.
Heavy rains lashing across Hubballi, Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag, Ballari and other northern Karnataka districts threw normal lives out of gear.
