Man murders his own brother at Bengre; arrested

Mangaluru: Police have arrested a man on the charges of murdering his own brother by stabbing him to death at Bengre at around 11:30 pm on Thursday night, October 17th.

The victim is identified as Mustafa, a resident of Bengre near Kileriya Mosque in the city and the accused is Raiju. Apparently, both of them are said to be manual labourers in fishing industry.

It is learnt that the cause for the extreme outcome was a petty quarrel. Meanwhile, the accused Raiju has been arrested and will be produced in the court.

Panambur police are conducting further investigation into the case.
