Gulladi: Farmer dies after getting impaled by a bull

Tekkatte: A farmer lost his life after his domesticated bull turned its horn on him and impaled him to death on the afternoon of October 18th. The incident occurred in Gulladi village located within Beluru GP limits.

Senior organic farmer, Gulladi Padmanabha Bhat (70) has been indulging in agriculture and animal husbandry since several years and had procured a bull for farming necessities.

On Friday afternoon, the bull all of a sudden turned its horn on to its owner and impaled him. The grievously injured Padmanabha was rushed to KMC hospital in Manipal, but his life could not be saved. He is survived by his son and daughter.
