KPCC suspends seven Kolar Cong office bearers

Bengaluru: The KPCC on Friday suspended seven of its office bearers in Kolar, including the District Congress President Prasad Babu for indulging in anti-party activities.

Disciplinary action was initiated against Babu and six other office bearers namely – former secretary Kumar, former President of Kolar Municipal Council Ataullah, Congress Minority Department Vice President Iqbal Ahmed, SC Wing’s District President K Jaydev, ST Wing’s District President Nagraj and L Kaleel for issuing baseless statements against KPCC President Dinesh Gundu Rao and AICC general secretary in-charge of Karnataka K.C. Venugopal.

KPCC General Secretary V Y Ghorpade issued their suspension order.
