Complaint filed concerning spreading of rumours about Janardhana Poojary’s health

Mangaluru: Kudroli temple’s administration board has filed a complaint with the city police commissioner urging to take stern action against people who are spreading false rumours on social media claiming the health condition of former union minister Janardhana Poojary is not okay.
It may be noted that Mr Poojary is the backbone of the development of Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Temple.
Rumours were spread on social media including WhatsApp regarding the severe ill health of Janardhana Poojary on Friday night Oct 18. Political leaders and Mr Poojary’s admirers got anxious seeing the false rumours on social media, had called the administrative committee of the temple and asked about the well being of Janardhana Poojary. Soon, the the administrative board of the temple filed complaint with the city police commissioner concerning the issue.
“Certain culprits are spreading false propaganda with regards to the health of former union minister Janardhana Poojary. This has caused pain to the family and admirers of Poojary. These culprits should be identified and arrested. They have to be warned not to indulge in such anti-social activities in future,” states the complaint.
