Vacate CM’s residence within four days: DPAR warns Siddaramaiah

Bengaluru: The state government’s Department of Personnel and Administrative (DPAR) Services through a letter directed former Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to vacate the Cauvery residence (reserved for the state’s CM) in the next four days.

As per protocol, the Cauvery residence has been now allotted to current Karnataka CM BS Yediyurappa.

As per the sources, the department has warned Siddaramaiah that if he does not vacate the residence as soon as possible they would cut the water and power line of the residence..

ItSiddaramaiah had resided in ‘Cauvery’ since 2013 when he became the Chief Minister of the state. Howece, the senior Congress leader had also refused to vacate the residence even after HD Kumaraswamy was sworn in as Chief Minister of the Congress-JD(S) coalition government.
