ULB election: Advertisement boards installed in city limits removed

Mangaluru: The City Corporation officials on Monday removed the advertisement boards installed in the MCC limits, as the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) election date has been announced and the model code of conduct had been enforced from Sunday, October 20.
MCC Commissioner Shanady Ajith Kumar Hegde on Sunday had asked all political parties and elected representatives to remove the advertisement boards installed in the MCC limits immediately.
The State Election Commission (SEC) on Sunday announced elections to 14 Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) including Mangaluru Mahanagara Palike. Polling for the same will take place on November 12 and the results will be declared on November 14.
