2020 Kawasaki Versys 1000 gets a new colour scheme

The 2020 version of Kawasaki Versys 1000 has been launched in India with a new colour scheme. Priced at the same tag of Rs.10.89 lakhs (ex-showroom), the new Versys 1000 is now available with a new ‘Candy Lime Green’ with ‘Metallic Spark Black’ paint scheme along with the existing ‘Pearl Stardust White’ with ‘Metallic Spark Black’ colour.
Bookings for the bike have commenced already in the Kawasaki showrooms. Apart from the new colour option offered, the 2020 Kawasaki Versys 1000 remains the same both mechanically and in terms of features including ABS, 3-mode Traction Control, 2 Power Modes, Electronic Cruise Control, five-axis Bosch IMU, slipper clutch and so on.
The engine powering the bike is the same 1043cc, inline-four-cylinder fuel-injected unit, generating 120PS and 102Nm of peak power and torque outputs. The engine comes paired with a 6-speed Manual gearbox. Braking duties are handled by Disc brakes at both the ends.
The major competitors of the Kawasaki Versys 1000 include the Ducati Multistrada 950, Honda CRF1000L Africa Twin and the Triumph Tiger 800 XR.
