No bursting of crackers between 10 pm and 6 am: PCB

Mangaluru: With Deepavali fast on approach, the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board has urged people to not to burst crackers from 10 pm in the night to 6 am in the morning.
In a press release issued by the Pollution Control Board has stated that the people must make use of crackers which are more environment friendly and also those, which do not increase noise pollution. The board has also asked people to refrain from bursting crackers near hospital, schools and religious places.
PCB has advised people to opt for open grounds and non-residential areas to burst crackers instead of congested roads and lanes.
