Benelli Imperiale 400 rolled out in India at Rs.1.69 lakh

Benelli has launched its much-awaited retro-styled classic bike, the Imperiale 400 in India at Rs.1.69 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, India). The Italian Superbike manufacturer offers the Imperiale 400 in three colour options – Red, Silver and Black.

Customers can book the Imperiale 400 with a minimum booking amount of Rs.4,000 at the nearest authorized Benelli showroom and online by logging into – https://benelli-imperiale.com/. Benelli India is also offering the Imperiale 400 with the Best-In-Class ‘3-Year Unlimited Kilometre Warranty as Standard’. The Benelli Imperiale 400 is introduced with complimentary service for the first 2-years. The company has also introduced an Annual Maintenance Contract for the Imperiale 400 for a hassle-free customer experience, which can be availed after the completion of the first 2-years.

The engine powering the Benelli Imperiale 400 is an all-new 374cc, Single-cylinder, 4-stroke, Air-cooled,4-valves/cylinder, SOHC unit with BS4-compliant. The electronic-fuel injected engine churns out 21PS power @ 5500rpm and 29Nm of torque output @ 4500rpm. Power to the rear wheels gets transmitted via a 5-speed Manual transmission gearbox.

In terms of features, the Imperiale 400 gets a compact and durable double cradle frame that offers an extremely easy riding and handling of the bike. Suspension duties are handled by a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and preload adjustable dual shock absorbers at the rear. The design of the exhaust, finished in black with chrome inserts, accentuate the vintage style of this new Benelli motorcycle, reinforced by the round front headlight – typically retro – and the teardrop tank, which bring out the motorcycle’s true essence.

The classic bike features a 300mm disc on the front with a two-piston floating caliper and a 240mm disc with single-piston caliper at the rear, with dual-channel ABS, thus ensuring an effective and balanced braking system. The bike runs on Spoke rim wheels with different diameters – 19″ on the front end, 18″ at the back, respectively shod with 110/90 and 130/80 section tubed tyres.
