Youth corpse case: Murder proved say cops
The murdered youth is from Madhuru who was converted

Kasaragod: A youth’s corpse which was found in an unused well located in a empty plot near Dinesh beedi company located along Nayaks road here has been proved to have been murdered. This was ascertained by the police during investigation.
The deceased is identified as Shane Kumar alias Shahnawaz (27), son of Ramesh and Pramila, originally residents of Madhuru Chettunguli, presently living at Patla in Madhuru. His mortal remains were found in the unused well on the morning of October 20th.
The autopsy of the corpse was conducted by a team led by police surgeon Dr| Gopalakrishan Pille who confirmed that Shane Kumar had indeed been a victim of murder. The police have not given any further information regarding the death.
Shane Kumar was accused in several criminal cases. Vidyanaga police had earlier booked a case against him under Kappa law.
Shane Kumar, his mother Pramila and sister had recently got converted.
