State govt will not celebrate Tippu Jayanthi: DCM Ashwath Narayan

Chikkaballapur: Deputy Chief Minister Dr CN Ashwath Narayan on Monday said that Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa led state government will not celebrate Tippu Jayanthi this year.

Addressing pressperson here he said, “Those who want to celebrate Tippu Jayanthi are free to celebrate but State government will not organize any program.”

He further added, “Congress leader DK Shivakumar’s release will not have any impact of the forthcoming bypolls. People of the state knows that Congress party leaders are corrupted. Congress has no future in this country.”

DK Shivakumar, who was released on bail from a Delhi prison in a money laundering case landed at the city airport on Saturday, October 26 afternoon.
