Chikkamagalur: A one-and-a-half-year-old boy died on the spot and several others sustained injuries after the bus they were travelling in overturned in Katinagere in Azzampur Taluk here.
The deceased victim has been identified as Suhas.
It is gathered that the bus, which was going from Dharmasthala to Chitradurga, was being driven by the conductor after its driver fell asleep. The conductor reportedly lost control over the vehicle which led to the accident.
The injured were rushed to Azzampur Hospital for treatment.
Azzampur Police registered a case.
