Thokkottu: Man killed after being hit by train

Mangaluru: A 40-year-old man died after being hit by a speeding train at Thokkottu here on Friday, November 1. Notably, this is the third such incident to be reported since October.
The deceased Mohammed Basheer, a resident of Chembugudde was employed as a painter.
Reportedly Basheer was returning home after offering Namaz at the mosque when he was fatally knocked down by the train. His body was recovered from near the railway tracks. His identity was established with the mobile phone recovered in his pocket.
Railway Police registered a case in this regard.
