Udupi: Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly Siddaramaiah arrived in Mangaluru on Wednesday, November 6 to release the party manifesto for the Mangaluru City Corporation (MCC) election.

The former chief minister who arrived in Udupi on Tuesday claimed to have no knowledge if BJP and JDS have entered into an alliance for the state by-elections and asked media persons to direct the questions to either Deve Gowda or Yediyurappa.

Reacting to allegations made by JDS supremo that Siddaramaiah was responsible for the collapse of the coalition government, the former chief minister said that he had already justified himself and won’t be giving clarifications every time the accusations are raised.

Siddaramaiah also declined to comment on veteran Congress leader B Janardhan Poojary’s remark that the former was a curse for the Congress party and high command made a mistake by appointing him the Leader of Opposition in Karnataka Assembly.
