Kundapur: After street singer, Vaikunta famously known as Rockstar Vaikunta died all of a sudden due to multiple organs failure in Udupi district government hospital, one of his fan filed a complaint against the doctors accusing them of negligence.
Vaikunta used to entertain people by singing songs in his own inimitable style using empty bottles for background music, he had also featured in YouTube channel and had a good fan following.
On November 13 he was found to be suffering from ill-health by the roadside at Kundapur, soon he was admitted into the district hospital on November 13 by his fan, Ranjit from Kundapur.
Following Vaikunta’s death, Ranjit and Prasad Byndoor had accused Dr Nagesh of the district hospital of insulting them and dithering from admitting Vaikunta into the hospital when they sought his admission and also accused him of negligence and filed a complaint against the doctor. However, a counter-complaint by the doctor was also registered in the town police station here.
