Police arrests 2 drug dealers, seize MDMA narcotic powder

Mangaluru: Acting on credible information, personnel of Economic and Narcotic crime wing on Tuesday, November 26 conducted a raid and arrested two drug peddlers and seized MDMA narcotics from their possession.

The accused Mohammed Azeem (30), residing near Pandeshwar and Mohammed Niaz (25), resident of Suratkal were arrested from their Maruti Alto car from near Shirdi Sai Baba Mandir, Urwa.

Mohammed Azeem has criminal cases registered against him at Kadri and Sutatkal police station. Mohammed Niaz too has criminal cases registered against him in Konaje, Urwa, and Suratkal police stations as well.

The total value of items confiscated items – 4.8 grams of MDMA Powder, a maroon color Alto, three mobile phones and Rs. 3000 cash is around Rs. 2,08,500.
