Thokkottu: Youth found dead under mysterious circumstances on railway track

Mangaluru: A youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances from near the railway track at Kapikad Thokkottu on Friday, November 29 night.

A local who spotted the body informed the police.

Upon investigation, the police identified that youth as Sudarshan (20), from Puthige near Kasargod.

There were several injuries on his back and chest. According to the police, Sudarshan was murdered sometime between 5 pm and 10 pm on Friday.

Rowdy sheeter D K Rakshit, who is the prime accused in the case reportedly called the Ullal police station last night to confess his crime and promised to surrender himself to the police on Saturday.

The police said that the murder took place over relationship with a girl.

Ullal police registered a case.
