Kushalnagar: A video footage of a teacher punishing his students allegedly for not following his instructions during the school excursion has gone viral on social media.
The students of a private school from Mysuru had arrived at Kaveri Nisaradhama in Kushalnagar for the school trip. However, since few of the students were not following instructions, the physical education teacher accompanying them took them to task and punished them. A video of the punishment, recorded by a local person shows the errant students being made to stand on their hands, placing their legs on a dustbin.
Locals objected to the punishment being given to the students, that too, during a school excursion. The teacher was taken to task and was asked to leave the place, along with the students informed a forest officer of Kaveri Nisargadama.
Meanwhile, the teachers’ gesture has received a lot of flak.
