One person killed, seven injured in road mishap

Chitradurga: One person was killed and seven others were injured in a road accident on National Highway 13 on Tuesday, December 10.

As per sources, the accident took place after a lorry plying towards Haryana from Bengaluru collided with another lorry.

The identity of the lorry driver who was killed in the accident is yet to be ascertained.

The injured are currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.

A case in this regard has been registered with the local police.
