Thanks to modern technology, it is no hard work to track somebody, and NFL Network reporter, Jane Slater, used it wisely! She took to Twitter and shared how she caught her (ex) boyfriend cheating on her, thanks to his Fitbit.
A senior NFL reporter tweeted about his gift for his wife, and that’s what prompted Slater to share her story.
Here’s the tweet:
Got my wife a Peleton three years ago. She was not offended. https://t.co/lzahtPDAeB

In response to his tweet, Slater wrote, ‘An Ex Boyfriend once got me a Fitbit for Christmas. I loved it. We synched up, motivated each other… didn’t hate it until he was unaccounted for at 4 am and his physical activity levels were spiking on the app’.
‘Wish the story wasn’t real’, she wrote at the end.

Clearly, the guy forgot that he had synced up his device with his girlfriend’s (Jane), so that they could keep up with each other.
In a follow-up tweet, Slater also wrote, ‘Spoiler alert: he was not enrolled in an OrangeTheory class at 4 a.m.’. She referred to the fitness class that has a 12-minute intense cardio workout.
Spoiler alert: he was not enrolled in an OrangeTheory class at 4am.

Slater’s story got a lot of replies, with people came out in her support.
I am so sorry that happened to you but that is an amazing story. I have many questions. What happened when you confronted him? Did he own it or try to talk his way out? Did you tell him it was the fitbit right away or just that you were suspicious to see what he said?

Ladies and gentlemen of the jury, let me present to you the timeline of events:
Fitbit, 4am: normal levels
Fitbit, 4:01am: increased heart rate, extreme wrist activity
Fitbit, 4:03am: normal levels
I rest my case.https://t.co/BJscWB4bEM
