Belagavi: 6-year-old raped in Kadoli

Belagavi: A 6-year-old girl was raped by a 26-year-old at Kadoli village in Belagavi district on Wednesday evening under the pretext of playing with her.

The accused has been identified as, Sunil Balu Balnayak.

It is gathered that Sunil lured the survivor to agriculture lands near his house in the pretext of playing and committed the heinous act. The victim’s father noticed the act while he was searching for her daughter and informed the police.

Follwing the incident the police have admitted the survivor for treatment and medical tests at District Hospital.

A cse in this regard has been registered with the local police and investigations are underway.
