RSS leader, 3 others booked for enactment of Babri Masjid demolition

Bantwal: A day after a video of a school play, enacting the demolition of Babri Masjid went viral on social media, police have booked four members of governing body of Sri Rama Vidyakendra High School at Kalladka in Bantwal.
This play was one among the 20 programmes presented by students of classes 11 and 12 during their annual sports day at the school on Sunday. The school in question is run by RSS leader Dr. Prabhakar Bhat.
Acting on a complaint lodged by local PFI activist Aboobacker Siddique, Bantwal town police booked Dr. Prabhakar Bhat, Narayan Somayyaji, Vasanth Madhav and Chinnappa Kotiyan under Sections 295A (Deliberate and malicious acts, intended to outrage religious feelings) and 298 (Uttering, words, etc., with deliberate intent to wound the religious feelings of any person) of the Indian Penal Code.
