B’luru DCP sang this song to pacify CAA protesters at Town Hall

Bengaluru: A video of DCP of Bengaluru (Central), Chetan Singh Rathore singing the national anthem to quell the protests over the Citizenship Amendment Act at Town Hall here has gone viral on social media and is being lauded by all.

On Thursday, the DCP, while attempting to convince protesters at Town Hall to leave the place and end their protest, sang national anthem over the public address system, making all protester rise up from their place. Shortly after the national anthem, the protesters agreed to culminate the agitation vacated the place without any argument.

 

Earlier, while attempting to strike a chord with the protesters and to convince them to leave the place, Rathore had also warned them about how such agitation can be used by anti-social elements for their benefit.
