Trailer truck topples over car; 3 dead, 2 injured

Puttur: Three persons were killed and two others sustained injuries after a iron pipe-laden trailer truck toppled over their car at Parvarakotya near Uppinangady here on Friday, December 20 evening.

The deceased have been identified as Narayana (65), Neetu (35) and Nidhi (15), all residents of Mandya. The injured were shifted to a hospital.

The accident is said to have occured after the driver of the Mangaluru-bound trailer truck lost control of the vehicle causing it to topple over the car.

Uppinangady police registered a case.
