Mangaluru: Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister Govind Karajol broke major controversy by stating that those killed in Mangaluru Police firing incident on December 19 were not innocent, but were anti-nationals and violators of the law.
In a candid conversation with the reporters, Karajol said that the Congress party has been making allegations against the BJP and State government for killing innocent by using police force.
“The allegations are not true we did not kill any innocents, and the two who died in police firing were not innocents they were anti-nationals and were violating the law. We had to take control over them,” he claimed.
Meanwhile, the Karnataka government on Sunday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 10 lakh each to the families of the two men killed in violent protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act in Mangaluru on December 19.
