Notification announcing Rs 10L reward for police is fake, says Compol

Mangaluru: City police commissioner Dr PS Harsha on Thursday, December 26 dismissed reports of Rs 10 lakh cash rewards for police peronnel in controlling the situation during the anti-CAA protests.
The top cop urged people not to blindly forward the image of a goverment notification, that states 148 police personnel will be given Rs 10 lakh. It is a fake notification and we are not in receipt of it, Harsha told media persons here.
