Mangaluru: Lashing out at Navyug company for giving vague assurances on completion of Pumpwell flyover project, Dakshina Kannada MP Nalin Kumar Kateel asked the officials to close the toll gate till the project is complete.
Kateel had said that the flyover will be inaugurated in the first week of January after inspecting the work progress at the construction site in November.
“Despite all assistance extended to you, the project has not yet been completed. Five deadlines have lapsed so far,” said a visibly irked Kateel and asked officials to submit in writing the date on which they will complete the project.
Kateel said that FIR has been registered against Navyug company officials and that the police can arrest them.
