Bengaluru: Instances of assaults and harassment marks NY events

Bengaluru: Some cases of assaults, harassment occurred on new year celebrations at Bengaluru.

A young man from northern India was attacked by a group at MG Road. The bleeding man was later admitted to a hospital.

A woman slipped and injured herself while dancing at Brigade Road. She too was taken to a hospital and left after first aid.

Another woman at Koramangala’s 5th Block alleged harassment by a group who had fled from the spot. Police are investigating the incident.

A young man was slapped by a woman at Church Street for alleged misbehaviour.
