Protest held in Bengaluru against JNU violence

Bengaluru: A group of students and citizens staged a protest here condemning the violence at Jawaharlal Nehru University in New Delhi.
Expressing solidarity with the JNU students, the protesters gathered at Townhall and raised slogans condemning the attack against JNU students.
Violence broke out at JNU on Sunday night as masked men armed with sticks attacked students and teachers and damaged property on the campus, prompting the administration to call in the police which conducted a flag march.
