Noted Yakshagana Bhagavata Manjunath no more

Sirsi: Senior Yakshagana Bhagavata Manjunath breathed his last today at 2:45 p.m. at the house of Sripada Joshi Badalakoppa at Sonda-Haleuru. He was eighty years old.

His mortal remains will be brought to Sadgati crematorium at Rudrabhoomi in Sirsi town. RS Hegde Bhairumbe, president of Yaksha Shalmala requested all students and admirers to come and pay their last respects to Manjunath.

The funeral of the deceased artist will be done later in the night.
