Chairs used for anti-CAA protest rally set on fire by miscreants

Mangaluru: Few miscreants on Sunday, January 12 night torched 2,500 chairs which had been used during the protest rally held in Deralakatte.
Deralakatte Citizenship Protection Committee had organised a protest rally against the Citizenship Amendment Act. After the rally concluded, few unidentified miscreants set on fire on the chairs that had been loaded on to an Eicher vehicle.
Following the incident, Hundreds of people gathered on the spot and warned of severe protest if a proper investigation is not undertaken.
Konaje police have registered a case in this regard.
