Over 3 lakh people came for anti-CAA meet: Mohammed Masood

Mangaluru: The president of DK and Udupi Muslim Central Committee, Mohammed Masood claimed in a news conference on January 18 that more than three lakh attended the anti-CAA protest meeting at Adyar.
Calling the meet an achievement he further said that no peace breaching incident took place during the meet against the Citizenship Amendment Act, the National Registry of Citizens and the National Population Register was a massive success.
Apologising for the plastic water bottles that were scattered by the attendees, Masood said that they cleaned the ground the next day. He also apologised for the problems faced by the general public due to the huge gathering and thanked the media for covering their event.
Also present during the conference were other members of the committee Kodijal Ibrahim, Mumtaz Ali, Sayyed Ahmed, Mohammed Haneef, S M Rasheed, Kassim Ahmed H K and Mansoor Ahmed Azad.
