Fruit and flower show at Kadri Park from Jan 24

Mangaluru: A fruit and flower show jointly organised by Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayat, Department of Horticulture and Siri Horticulture Association will be held from January 24 to 26 at Kadri Park.

District in-Charge Minister Kota Srinivas Poojary will be inaugurating the show and Mangaluru South MLA D Vedavyas Kamath will also be present.

Deputy Director of the Horticulture Department, H R Nayak speaking to reporters said that the programme for the three days includes demonstrations on hand and terrace gardening, irrigation system, apiculture, mushroom cultivation and exhibitions on nursery ownership, farm tools, seeds and fertilisers and other products.

Tickets will be priced at Rs 20 for adults and Rs 10 for children. School children and differently-abled will have free entry.
