Mangaluru: In the backdrop of the Pumpwell flyover bridge nearing completion, MLC Ivan D’Souza on Monday said that MP Nalin Kumar Kateel cant claim credit for the same.

The fact-finding team of DK District Congress comprising of MLC Ivan D’Souza, DCC Chief Harish Kumar, Corporator Praveen Alva among others inspected the progress of the work at the flyover.

Speaking to reporters here, Ivan said that Kateel only gave multiple deadlines for completion of the flyover. However, after the responsibility of the work was handed over to district administration it has picked up pace and the flyover is now in a motorable state.

It may be recalled that the last deadline of January 1 given by Kateel for completion of flyover had failed.
