Case against woman for obstructing traffic police

Kundapur: A case has been registered against a woman for allegedly obstructing traffic police personnel from doing their duty and abusing them verbally at Hemmady here.
The incident took place on January 21, when the patrolling police pulled by the woman, Shanti Picardo for not wearing the seat belt. In the complaint police alleged that Shanti did not pay the penalty for the traffic violation but began abusing traffic cops and accused them of taking bribes.
Shanti it is said recorded a video of the entire incident and uploaded it on social media thereby demoralising the police personnel stated the complaint.
