Bapu’s 73rd death anniversary: Women to form human chain to take on Godse

Mangaluru: While 620 km long human chain from the northern part of Kerala to the south was formed on Republic day, by the ruling CPI(M) led Left Democratic Front, demanding withdrawal of the Citizenship Amendment Act, the women of Manglauru to form a human chain in front of the office of the Deputy Commissioner to 73rd anniversary of the martyrdom of the original Satyagrahi Mahatma Gandhi.

Addressing the press with this regard activist Sajida Momin informed that they will be forming a human chain at the Deputy Commissioner’s office on January 30, to he 73rd anniversary of the martyrdom of the original Satyagrahi Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated by saffronite terrorist Nathuram Godse.

“The Satyagrah will commence at 10 am to safeguard the constitution. We will convey Gandhi’s message of unity against violence,” she said.

Activists Vidya Dinker, Terry Pais, Maria Ferandes and Suhasini Babbukatte were also present.
