Bengaluru: After the news reports of a 29-year-old Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) bus conductor clearing Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Main exam news article was widely circulated on social media with netizens lauding the efforts of the bus conductor, it is now revealed that the news seems to be untrue.
Earlier it was reported that Madhu NC employed at the BMTC has recently cleared the coveted Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Main exam in January. Reportedly, he was said to be overjoyed when he found out that he has cleared the mains exam and was looking forward to the interview round to be held on 25th March.
However, it is now gathered that the news id untrue and the BMTC conductor who was said to have cleared his IAS examination had misrepresented his marks.
The BMTC officials are now probing how the conductor misrepresented his results and investigating the matter further.
Meanwhile, Several Twitter users also took to the social media platform to clear the air on Madhu’s story.
On 29/01/2020, I tweeted a news which I found inspiring that Madhu NC, a bus conductor with BMTC, studied 5 hours daily & cleared UPSC exam.
Now, it’s revealed that news was Fake. Some Media reports now saying that he lied & misrepresented his marks.
I apologize for my tweet.
