Coronavirus: No need to panic, says Health Minister Sriramulu

Mangaluru: State Health Minister Sriramulu on Thursday, February 6 said that there was no need for fear in the state amid Coronavirus health scare.
The state government has taken precautionary measures and passenger screening process has been undertaken at the city port and airport for detection of any cases.
“So far no positive case has been reported in the state,” said Sriramalu adding that beds have been reserved in district and private hospitals across the state.
Regarding the induction of additional deputy chief ministers, Sriramulu said that presently there are three deputy chief ministers and any decision on who will be made chief minister will be taken coming days. “There are many aspirants for a ministerial berth, but they must wait till an opportune time,” he added.
Hitting out at former chief ministers HD Kumaraswamy and Siddramaiah, Sriramulu said that the former has lost seriousness after losing power.
Siddaramaiah is jobless and has been giving statements in despair, he said.
