Mangaluru: In the wake of the coronavirus outbreak, a youth whose wedding was scheduled to be held on February 10 in the city has been postponed indefinitely.
The bridegroom Gaurav, a crew member of the cruise vessel ‘World Dream’, was supposed to reach his native just ahead of the wedding and all preparations were in place.
The vessel had departed from China on January 26 and was supposed to end its journey in Taiwan on February 5 but they were denied permission owing to the coronavirus outbreak. The ship then took a detour to Hong Kong where it has been quarantined and its crew members, passengers placed under observation.
Meanwhile, it is learnt that none of the crew members, tourists have tested positive for the virus.
