Udupi: Four from district show symptoms of novel coronavirus

Udupi: Three people from Mandarthi, Kundapura taluk and one from Mudarangady, Kaup taluk have been admitted to the isolation ward for the novel coronavirus (nCoV)in the District Hospital at Ajjarkad, Udupi.
All four were reported to be showing symptoms of the novel coronavirus.
The three from Mandarthi are from the same family and had returned from China a few weeks ago while the details of man from Mudarangady is still unknown.
Udupi Deputy Commissioner, Jagadeesha has confirmed the admission of the people in the hospital’s isolation ward and said that their samples have been sent to Bengaluru for testing, results will be out in 48 hours.
