Tumkuru: Special pooja to save people from coronavirus, H1N1

Tumkuru: Durga Parameshwari temple and Shaneshwara temple at Rangana Halli village, saw a special pooja performed on Friday, February 7 to save people from novel coronavirus and the H1N1 virus.
The presiding priest, Yashwanth Shastri said that the pooja was performed to save the world from these viruses and such poojas were performed by their ancestors to keep society protected from such virus attacks and for the betterment of everyone.
The novel coronavirus was discovered in Wuhan, China last year and has spread to various parts of the world.
World Health Organisation has declared the virus spread as a global health crisis.
